Help trading in?
Hey everyone I am thinking about trading in my 2000 Trans Am, for something like a 2005 corvette. I live in California and it is hard enough as it is to pass emissions so I figured I would just go the easy route and buy a corvette that is already fast. What do you guys thing? Stupid or smart......or anyother suggestions would be nice.....~Chris

they'll give you like $2,000 on trade in brother, just sell it private party on Craigslist for a little less than KBB to ensure a quick sell, if its clean title and decent condition just get the new owner to smog it then smack the salesman in the face with the cash and say I want that vette!

Really depends on your miles and condtition. I'm seriously guessing 5 to 6 grand. Plus, the fact that the car is not smog legal, will not benefit the trade... to give you an idea, I wanted to sell my 02 trans am 6spd rescently.... so a dealer (camarokingla) offered me 10.5
My car is in my profile and has 57k with most boltons. That offer seemed good at 1st, but later I thought about it, and told him NO. ******* will resell for 14k no problem to some poor chump. If you do decide to go to a dealer, PM me man so I have an idea of what to expect if I ever want to trade in for a ls2 vette
