Most functional WS6/ram air hood airbox setup
I am planning to add a Trufiber WS6-style hood to replace the "sleek beak". However, I want more than just the ram air look. I want it to be of at least some real benefit. I understand the stock WS6 hood/airbox is actually not that great, from what I've read anyway. So what's the best setup I can use to feed/force some cool air in via hood?

For a street car, the fact that it's ram air won't make much difference...you'd get the same benefit from most any CAI. Gotta be going way faster than it makes sense to around town for ram air to help.

I would say try to find a BG ram air if you can, but I'm not sure if they fit aftermarket hoods. Brian Green stopped making them years ago due to high overhead but they were magazine tested for a .02 increase in the 1/4. His actually had funnels in the nostrils to guide the air into the air box though, real nice setup.

i recently added a ram air hood and air box to my 94 .and it does make a difference
performance wise when driving in town or on the highway .quicker acceleration and
nice"roar " at wide open throttle.

I just finished my design and fabrication yesturday
I cant believe how much of a difference there is. You can hear the air being sucked in when idleing and when on the highway. When you punch the throttle there is a roar through the hood.
