Default water in rear

Really need help, every time it rains pretty hard, I get water collected in the rear where the T-top storage is on my 2002 trans am. How and why? anyone else have this problem?

guessing hatch seal is bad. see if the weather stripping is broken, rotted, or pinched anywhere. if it is, fix or replace.

just for an off shot, check under the carpet or underneath the car, and see if any of the plug looking things in that area are loose or missing.

How long have you owned the car, has it ever been in an accident? I had a Grand Am that was rear ended and after that accident I experienced a similar problem with the trunk getting wet.

check the area where the tailight housing mates to rear quarter panel some of the caulk seal
on the edges may have come off causing water to seep in .

Check the plugs underneath the car. Same thing was happening to mine and one of those plugs were cracked.
