How do I check if the my fuelPump is the reason my Fire Bird is not starting

put a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and check the pressure

get a spray bottle with gas and get someone to start it while you spray gas in the air intake lol. thats the getto way to do it but i've done it and it works. but you don't need to go buy a gauge. if while you keep spraying..the car runs and dies when you quit spraying..then its your fuel pump

Do the easiest and most economical check first by checking and replacing the fuel filter. It could very well be plugged.

We REALLY need more info on your car, starting with the year and engine.

Tell us about any other work or modifications that might have been done to it. Have you done any work to it recently and now it won't start? Does it crank over properly?
