wet passenger rear floor, eww, help!
ive got this god awful mildew smell lingering in my car so i searched to figure out what it was and i have a puddle of water behind my passenger seat on the floor, it seems that it may be from the a/c because it doesnt rain in texas anymore. help please! i gotta keep my ladies in my bird n the smell almost runs me out of it!

May be a cowl seal? But for the smell, take baking soda and sprinkle it only the carpets. Leave this sit for a little bit then vacuum it out. Use some dryer sheets under the seats to keep it smelling fresh.

I had a similar issue to this and it turned out to be a cracked rubber body plug under the seat. Mine only was wet after a rain though. If your car is wet all the time i would check the heater core. Definately would be leaking on the passenger side and would kind of make a sweet smell. If you turn your defrosters on high, it should blow a mist of coolant onto the windshield.

I am almost positive it is a/c related. it is a huge puddle, i soaked it up and haven't used my ac since and it has not appeared. Help please. its hot riding with the windows down in louisiana.
