Default Transmission help!!

My 98 trans am will not shift!!! Automatic trans 130k miles engime light came on.threw code po758 2-3 shift solenoid. Does the trans have to be removed to change the solenoid? Where is the solenoid located at? Im lost not sure where to start someone give me some info on this problem I have please

You do not need to remove the transmission to replace the shift solenoids. They are located on the bottom of the transmission inside the pan. I would recomend replacing all three at the same time since you are under the car and have the pan off. Its also a good time to change your transmission filter since you dont want to put a dirty filter back on.
