Decoding this "formula" I purchased, RPO codes
Purchased a project car that happens to have formula badging and slp on the rear bumper. The SLP looks new so i think the previous owner did that because of the loudmouth. Anyway the car has both
WS9 = Model Conversion Pontiac Firebird Formula
& W66. =Merchandised Pkg Pontiac Firebird Formula
Can anyone break down those codes, does this mean they are the right codes needed to be a true formula car from GM ?
Only cars sent to slp were the Ws6 and SS camaro right? I wouldn't be able to call them for build number and ect..

Those RPO codes means it is a Formula.
The SLP sticker is probably because of the loudmouth.
Depending on the year, SLP did the conversions for the SS/WS6/Firehawk from 94-97. ASC took over the conversions for 98-02.
