* What should I do about the matrix bubbles? Rear Window tint problem?
I got my windows tinted at a shop and they turned out great except for the rear window in the top matrix area and bubbling on the driver side front.
Apparently, the rear window bubbling is a common thing in the f body cars, I did not know this.
The tint shop said nothing about this before I got it tinted either.
I went back on friday and they said they would replace the tint on the driver side window, but regarding the back, they would try to heat it to make it better, but it probably wouldn't get much better.
I made an appointment for tuesday morning.
How should I handle this? What would you guys do?
tell them that I want them to re-tint it until it comes out right?
Ask for a refund so I can have another shop do it?
Ask them to retint and place a vinyl strip over the matrix area? Should I have to pay for that?
What do you guys think?

I tinten my rear window this summer. The shop owner told me the rear is tricky due to window is curved in several directions. He spent a whole day to my car.
He told me he had a C4 corvette in the past and this was much more tricky to make. He was using heat and streched the film to it´s limit- but result is great, no bubbles, wrinkles nothing.

Actually glad this post came up..I was wondering if you guys knew the best way to remove the bubbly tint. I heard spraying soapy water on the tint, covering it with a garbage bag taped to the edges, and letting it sit in the sun would help pull the tint off easier. I figure any prep work will save time(money) at a tint shop for the new stuff to go in.
I need to redo the sides and rear.
