Default My 97 T/A WS6 Re-build log

So here it goes with my 97 Trans Am WS6 rebuild log.

Thanks to the following for getting the parts fast and not broken for the rebuild!

Griffin Thermal Products, O'Reilly's Auto Parts, Brakemotive, robsquikz28, WS6store, Coloradospeed
Nate @ Nasty Performance, CSR Performance

Bought the car in California about 1 month after being stationed here at Naval Station San Diego. After getting the car, ran into countless issues with back fire, stuff breaking, not working, overheating, emissions illegal changed by the State of California Mechanics, I couldn't stand it anymore so I had to do something about it.

A very good friend of mine, who also a Marine who got out in 91' offered to do the work on my car while I was on deployment. Met him years ago and I was amazed that he was willing to help out with all my issues.

Pictures of the car working condition at the time.

On it's way to the Mid West to my friend Dave's house

Late September 2012, started buying some parts here and there. Got me some Drilled & Slotted Rotors all 4 corners, Comp Cam BeeHive Valve Springs, Genuine LS7 Lifters, Evo pads, Cloyes True Roller Timing Chain

Also too add in, got a picture of the CSR EWP. I like.

22NOV12, WS6store.com having sales for Thanksgiving, picked me up Bilstein Shocks, and Vogtland Springs! My car rides like a damn tank right now, so can't wait till I drive it with these new parts!

Installed.
