I want to know what gen corvette brakes to use on a Firebird...

there is probably a kit out there somewhere. I just needed to know if it was c5 or c6

but whenever i look on other websites everything is like half the price of what they are asking

Unless you are doing some seriously nutso road racing, LS1 fourth gen rear brakes would be more that adequate. I've got them on mine, road race it hard, and still need to turn the bias down to about 60-65 percent. It's a relatively cheap solution - with ebc slotted directional rotors and ebc yellow pads, remanned calipers and forth gen backing plates, it cost me about 450. If you go cheap on the rotors and pads, knock 175 off.
