I recently bought a ws6 air box to put on my 99 t/a because im buying a ram air hood for it soon. My question is which aftermarket hoods will fit with this ws6 taller box? Or did I make a mistake by getting this box? Any help is appreciated.

in theory all the aftermarkets should work with it, I know for SURE (because Roger says it does on his Ebay listings) that the Superhawk Hood works with it.

Suncoast Creations WS6 style will not be functional with a factory airbox. They have a different induction route, which is through the top of the airbox kit you can also buy from them.

I'm in the process of getting mine now (I put in an offer and he accepted on the listing that expired on Wednesday, he's got another listing up now) so now I just have to sit back and wait till he gets mine made and shipped. From everything I've read he is the MAN when it comes to these hoods and in my book the Superhawk is the best looking hood that you can find for the 98+ birds, the only one that could trump it would be the Mecham Hood with the big heat extractors. but you couldn't find one of those if you tried and if you could it would be like double the price at least.

Yeah, the Suncoast hoods use a airbox similar to the LT1 WS6. Although if you're not using a Suncoast airbox, the "nostrils" still vent the air into the factory airbox. It's just not as direct.
