Default 2002 SOM convertible WS6 owners ?

I was heading back from lunch and saw a 2002 SOM WS6 convertible with camel interior with a custom NC license plate....MY "02" TA. Awesome looking care....my favorite color and a convertible ! Does anybody by chance own this car in this forum ? It was in the Greensboro area. I only have seen a very handful of 98-02 TAs cruising around and this was far the nicest. Makes me want a SOM car !!

That's quite a sighting. There can't be many of those on the road. I can go many weeks (actually months in the winter) without seeing a T/A convertible of any color, never mind SOM, even on trips to larger cities like Atlanta and Charlotte.

I hardly EVER see F bodies of any variety anymore. Last of the breed indeed...

Default 2002 SOM Vert

Yes I have one but not in that area.

I posted on the "What's it worth" board and have it sold as the weather breaks. Owned the car for ~10 years and it has been a great car.

Lucky buyer because it really as good of a car as I mention.

Without fully disclosing what I sold it for, I said asking $16.5 and negotiated a bit down from there. In Chicagoland area with 42K or so miles.

Best color combo ever. Attached is the listing sheet from when I bought it in 05.

Wow. I have not kept up on "What's it worth", before I picked up my 98 WS6 Vert ~29K miles almost 2 years ago in June I started my search for a 02 SOM T-Top car with target mileage in the 40K range.....prices at that time I was seeing were much more than $16K and that was not even for a vert. Lucky buyer ! I don't even want to know how much mine has dropped in price in 2 yrs with only the couple hundred miles I have put on it :-(

Thanks for making me feel better. I have an 02 with under 50k miles that I debate selling, but keep saying to myself a SOM t-top with that mileage is desirable so keep it since you don't see many. LOL
