I Just did My Drivers Door Today, Firehawk only has 12,000 miles on it and there was a Crack starting to Form on the Drivers side. I took the Panel off And took out 5 of the Staples. The Staples are really overkill!! I replaced them with Small wireties. The Panel was not Cracked Yet, I guess it was a Stress Line. I went ahead and Put some Plastic weld on the Stressed Area to strengthen it. Hopefully this will take care of it!!

I have both door pannels cracked.

My drivers door has one crack completely through, a second crack 1/3 the way through and a third one looks like its starting.

Any update on this?

I've cracked my 2nd Passanger side door panel. I have rolled my windows down a hand full of times since replacing the door panel and it still cracked. The car doesn't get driven much at all either. These panels aren't cheap. I think I'm going to contact someone at Pontiac or GM to see what can be done.

I know people have put the TA door panels in camaros. I think a few of the holes don't line up, but you can drill new ones.

Good luck getting GM to do anything on a now 7 year old car. I had our interior vinyl repair guy fix both my door panels. That is an art form of work. He fiberglassed it underneath to reinforce both panels. Can't even tell where he did it.

This is a good fix! It's not up on the web yet, but hopefully this will fix anyone with the start of a crack (or by miracle no cracks) to prevent it from going further.

Just bought my WS6 last week, and sure enough it has the cracks! The previous owner thought a 'large' passenger used the panel to help get out of the car and cracked it. It is about an inch 1/2 log on the passenger side, and just starting to form on the driver's side. I will try Bandit's fix this weekend and hope for the best.

It's a good fix? You've seen it?

Share the wealth.

Crack starting on the passenger side.

After somebody does the fix from high perf pontiac mag post your step by step in here please. This might be something I should look into even though I see no signs of cracking yet. Btw if your door panel does crack can a new one be bought from pontiac???
