trans am production numbers i was wondering if someone could help me find this info for a friend
i need to know how many were produced....1991 Trans Am (not GTA) 305 A4 with T-Tops, Dark Green in color
if someone knows where this info could be found i would appreciate it

In 1991, the 5.0 TBI V8 was the standard engine for both the Formula and Trans Am.
Dark Green Metallic (paint code 45) was a new color for 1991.
The 4 spd. automatic transmission (RPO MXO) was a $515.00 option.
As far as build numbers, I've got two different sources that list the total Trans Am 2d hatchback production for 1991 at 2,409 and one that says 4,444. Go figure
I unfortunately don't have any further breakouts on specific totals.
Dark Green Metallic (paint code 45) was a new color for 1991.

As far as build numbers, I've got two different sources that list the total Trans Am 2d hatchback production for 1991 at 2,409 and one that says 4,444. Go figure

Firebird Red book also says 4,444 Trans Am hatch. Standard catalog of Firebird breaks that down to 2,409 std Trans Am hatch, and 2,035 Trans Am GTA hatch (4,444 total).
