Don't know why we should rejoice..They are not going to use a Trans Am, I can almost guarantee it..Why use a car that has been out of production for 6 years? No logic to it at all. We would all like to see it? Damn I wish, Look at what GM did to us by pulling the plug on the F-Body...Now If GM was smart, which they are not, I would do a concept T/A, Have millions of people see it, Like it & want to buy it..They would probably fly out of the ******* showrooms

actually the knight rider movie for tv, featured the Pontiac Banshee concept, which is what 93-02 f-bodies are based off of!!!

actually you are wrong, if you look at the pics you supplied above it was NOT a banshee as i stated and several other stated before the car used in the movie was a dodge stealth with a new body molded just for the movie. just trying to get the facts straight.... .

Wink

KIFT -yea, i never knew it was a dodge stealth.

New Movie - Hope it happens, and soon! Hope they use a T/A!!

GM is stupid for making stupid calls about not letting them use a T/A and for pulling the FBODY

T/A Firebird Concept - I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY A NEW FIREBIRD!

I really liked that show too, but didn't watch it as religiously as KR when i was a kid...KR ROCKS

Actually...the Viper "Intercepter" i think it was called...looks a lot like a SpyHunter concept rip-off...but it looks cool nevertheless.

Personally I'm against hollywood using decent cars, because they'll inevitably want to destroy them in some flashy stunt

Most of the new cars you see in movies in recent years were donated by the manufacturers as a way to advertise their vehicles.

i did hear that many of the older sheetmetal in movies now are ones that were bought in bad shape and made to look decent. primarliy cause of the cost of vintage metal

Ah I see, either way your car is beautiful, I would love to own a KITT or KARR replica

If they used a Trans Am concep based off of the 09 Camaro, it would look more like Smokey&The Bandit then Knight Rider. I read that GM is planning on turning the Pontiac Division into RWD only after the next model line-up. Maybe they could use the new model GTO as the new KITT?

Yeah, after the 1st season, KITT was always refered to as "the black t-top".

I'm sorry everyone. I tried not to be a Knight Rider Nerd, but I failed miserably.
don't you mean your a Knight Rider "KNERD"

i too am guilty, i have all 84 eps on dvd and several from years past on USA and SCI FI

heres a pic of my 95 TAif they decide to do something other than an 82 TA i would love to see an LT1/LS1 TA as KITT... there is a replica around somewhere of a 4th gen LT1 TA with a kitt nose.. i think its don colly's (sp) car.. the nose is $3800 bux and the dash is $6500

oh and FWIW, the white 85 testarossa is sitting in sunrise, fl at a place called the "SWAP Shop" i lived down there last year and was there with a friend of mine and they had a bunch of ferrari's and i said something about the miami vice ferrari being on barrett jackson, and we turn around, and it was right there behind the glass...original universal studios title and all.
