Default Chaning out headlight on 01'

There any special tools or a guide to doing this or is it pretty straight through? I tried a search and everytime it would time out. Screws on the side like the 93 - 97?

Do the lights have to be up? Anyone have a guide or anything?

Also anyone have the numbers for the low/hi beam lights? I looked at Napa online and it had one number for both, than went to Schucks and it had two different numbers, low they had the hi they didn't.

Thanks!

Remove the screws holding the black plastic surround on.
Unscrew the screws at the top of the headlights.
Bend the metal frame down far enough to remove the bulb.
Unplug old bulb.
Plug in new bulb and slide into place.
Reverse order for install.

Alright so it does sound like there are Plastic screws around the lights than.

Will tackle tonight and hopefully not break anything! Use to pulling out a plug in the GTP and putting in new bulb and being done in 30 sec.

Thanks Y2k

If your lights have fogged up or got water you can buy replacement box lights at the auto store for not much at all . Also you can take a heat gun to the factory housings and beable to clean and use a bulb of your choice .

Will have to disect the old ones and took at them.

Could they have made the screws a little more easier to possibly loose? I dropped one for the frame of the light and spend 10 min digging around in the bumper for it until it fell out from somewhere. Than spent another 15 min trying to find a way to make sure it wouldn't happen again! Getting those started without a magnetic torx sucks.

I taped mine onto the end of my screwdriver
