4th Gen. wing on 3rd Gen Trans AM?
has any one installed a spoiler from a 98+ t/a on their 3rd
firebird?
i know the contours and mounting points are are different as well as the
width, but it seems like a worthwhile conversion.
i have a extra 4th gen wing laying around and would like any pointers
if any has done this before, come on in.
opinions or pics?
my bird is a 88 with the stock spoiler.

I remember reading about a guy who did that a few years ago, on thirdgen.org. I think he had to cut a piece out of the center of the wing to shorten the width since it's wider than the third-gens. I'd search there, i'm sure you'll find some very helpful info.

It's a totally different spoiler I believe. My friend bought one a couple of years ago at the Trans Am Nationals. I don't recall if it was a vendor or just at the swap meet, but here is a pic of the type.

People put Firebird spoilers on C5s? I think you'll have to show pics of that.

I don't know if it would be worth it to mess with a real 4th gen. spoiler when you can buy an aftermarket one and save the hassle. I'm not sure if they're a sponcer on here or not but Hawksthirdgenparts has them http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/in...ROD&ProdID=433
