2002 ws6 comes with ls6 intake manifold and ls6 block ??????
is this ture, i herd this some were online,saying that the last of the 2002 ws6 came with ls6 intake manifold, and block ????? that u only needed the ls6 heads and full ls6 ????

2000-2002 was the ls6 intake and for the block some gottem some didnt but the block doesn't really matter anyway..Im sure there is alot setting the ls1 from the ls6 apart stock for stock...

If you would just read the sticky at the top of the LS1 info section, it will answer all of these sort of questions.

The only main difference in the LS1 block versus the LS6 block is the windage opening in the bottom of the block and the casting tecnique that GM used on the LS6 block.
The larger windage opening were "suppossed" to offer better high rpm losses versus the LS1 block.

It's just bragging rights, no real benefit. The intake gives a bit, but that's all. The one guy on eBay trying to sell that nice white WS6 tries to make the LS6 info a huge selling point. He's just doing anything to justify the $35K selling price he keeps listing it under.
