First of all, what is the diameter of the stock tips on a '00 WS6? Is it 2.5" like I'm remembering? I had duals put on (out the back) a while ago, but don't have tips yet and I thought it might be an idea to have them weld the original tips back on to make it a bit more.... ... . I don't know yet though.

Also, is there any good way to clean them? Right now they have a bit of black on the bottom from being on there for a while (not bad, it was only 15k miles i think). I haven't really tried yet(just a dry paper towel), but I would like to approach it right the first time if possible.
