Got my new wheels on, more mods in progress.. Car is dirty, but I thought I would snap a picture so that you guys can see what the new wheels look like on my Formula... Header / y-install is complete, I will have more pics of that once the car is back home and cleaned up.

Yeah, I was really on the fence to how it would look, but am happy with it... it's just taking a little while to get used to it because I'm so used to seeing the WS6 wheels on the car. I thought about just putting polished TT2s on it, but everybody and their brother in our local club has polished TT2s on their car... and all the other wheels I liked were way too expensive for me to afford.
I really liked the look of the Blackbird Trans Ams, and after seeing a few of them, I decided to replicate that look on my Formula... and I have Blackbird stripes waiting to go on the car right now... I'm gonna do a similar silver/charcoal color on the stripes.
I had my headers (Kooks) coated in a similar charcoal color...
Then under the hood, I have a carbon fiber intake lid with a chrome screaming chicken on it.. and I am using red as my accent color... so I have charcoal colored headers, with red plug wires, red STB, and all my suspension components are red... I'm gonna get a set of carbon fiber FRC's to match my lid, and then put the Formula logo on them in red... I'm gonna paint my brake calipers red also. Then the water pump is getting replaced with a polished Meziere electric pump, and I'm going to finish the look by polishing / chroming what I can under the hood.
I've also got a nitrous kit for it, and I traded someone for a purple ZEX bottle to go in the back... I'm hoping to get the car to just over 11.50 on the strip.. don't want to put a rollbar in it, so once I get there, I'm gonna switch to doing appearance mods only. The car ran 12.8x with just catback, gears and a converter on the factory tune... so I think it's realistic that I can get it to 11.50-11.60 with the mods I have planned.
Should be a pretty nice combination when I get it all together.

I second the Torq-Thrust II polished wheels comment. Nice wheels but you see them on everything it seems. The wheels you choose look great against the purple color IMHO, nice choice!
