Default 97+ lens cluster bezel in a 93

I have seen a folks who have done the swap, so I know it is possible, but what all is involved in making the 97 lens cluster bezel work in a 93-96 Firebird? Also I noticed almost every one who has done the swap has after market gauge faces, for what year vehicle did you purchase the gauge faces? As I recall the 93-96 set ups encompass the entire gauge face where as 97+ only pertain to the actual instrument areas.

You need to swap the whole front end if you're talking about the headlights. Hood, fenders, radiator support, headlights, bumper, brackets.

I believe that for 93-97 you use the 97 cluster if you're going for a 98+ conversion. There's plenty of threads on here that are tutorials. Probably a sticky in the auto body section.

Yeah, thats what I did to my 96. All you have to do is buy a 1997(and ONLY 1997) and just swap it with your old cluster. Thats all! Trust me, it works.

You talking about the instrument cluster, or the headlights (lenses)?

That looks awesome, thanks for the PM man. To get the 97 bezel to fit, you have to cut the mounting tabs off, grind down some lips and notch a small peace of the bottom for a cluster down. Wasn't any thing you cant do with a dremel in about 10 minutes. The old lens and bezel bolt in, this one is pretty much secured in via the gauge cluster bolts.
