Talking BMR Launches New Product - G8 Strut Tower Brace (STB012)

BMR Fabrication Strut Tower Brace for the Pontiac G8

Eliminate tower deflection and improve handling in your new Pontiac G8 with a Strut Tower Brace from BMR Fabrication. These braces are constructed from 1-¼” diameter x .120 wall DOM steel and 3/16” CNC laser cut steel plates. The Strut Tower Brace (STB012) uses existing holes to mount in the engine bay, so there is no need to remove the struts or make any permanent modifications to the car during installation. This is truly a bolt-in piece. These strut tower braces are formed to the contours of the covers in the G8 engine bay for enhanced cosmetic appeal. Available in black hammertone or red powdercoat finishes.

To preview all of BMR’s high-performance suspension parts, please visit www.bmrfabrication.com, email sales@bmrfabrication.com, or contact them at BMR Fabrication, 12581 US Highway 301 North, Thonotosassa, FL 33592, 813-986-9302, Fax: 813-986-8055.

I read the instructions for install for this unit and noticed that it does mount to the
top of the strut tower but appears more to be mounted down low and to the inside of the tower, it just does not seen to as effective mounted that way, please chime in and
convince me of this, and to why it could not be mounted to the top of the tower, thanks,

Ron

This piece is setup to be a 100% bolt on deal. We are as of now the only company that does so. We have customers that have this piece installed on their G8s and are more than happy with it. Yes it might not be the most rigid bar out there but you're also not taking a brand new $35,000 car and drilling 6 holes into the strut towers either.

Which STB are you considering for your G8?

Yours at this time, I do not know of any other makers out that are doing this
so I can't compare products, unless you know of some one else doing or making
them, you can pm me if you like, I know kinda dumb to ask one for another makers product, that is why your potential customers can make there
own decision. Thank you for your time.

Any pictures of this installed? This would work for the GXP, right?
