Default Misfire code brand used g8

In the process of possibly purchasing used g8. The car has 52,000 miles. Carfax is good and 1 owner. Has, I believe, a roto fab cai. Body/ computer module reprogrammed 2009 w/ 6000 miles. Sensing diagnostic module reprogrammed 2013 with 41,000 miles.

Engine light came on and is throwing a misfire code. Going to GMC dealer to get diagnosed. What should I ask for from the dealership as rock hard evidence to prove what wrong with the car and what has been done to resolve the issue?

Sorry for the long read and thanks for the help........

it could just be a bad spark plug, assuming they have never been changed. Start by checking them and the plug wires.

Found out it was a stuck lifter. Waiting to see what exactly the dealer did to fix it.
