VCM USA has released some improvements and refinements to our OTR intakes!

New Injection Molded OTR Airbox Housings

The new housings are now a two-piece design.

1. Provides an air-tight seal around the filter.
2. Allows for easy filter removal for cleaning or replacement.
3. Housings for the G8, SS, and Caprice are now identical. The only difference between the kits for these vehicles is the mounting hardware.

PCV Line Relocation to Eliminate Lean Codes

VCM listened and we've updated the design with a new PCV hose and coupler that relocates the PCV line from the airbox to a nipple on the coupler between the throttle body and MAF. This eliminates the lean code error that some of you have seen due to intake air bypassing the MAF in the old setup and makes tuning easier. All new kits come with this new setup.

The kit also includes a plug to cap off the hole left on the air box housing.




Power Steering Pump Reservoir Relocation Bracket and Hose for Magnuson Supercharger Setup

The coupler for Magnuson TVS superchargers now includes a power steering reservoir relocation bracket and hose. This provides more clearance and eliminates interference between the MAF card and power steering pump reservoir.

Side Panels and Infill Panel for Chevy SS and 2012+ PPV Caprice

Side panels are now available for the 2014+ Chevrolet SS and 2012+ Chevrolet PPV Caprice. The infill panel is identical to the G8 infill panel, but requires a little bit of trimming for proper fitment.

New UV Resistant Rubber Couplers

New rubber couplers are now all UV resistant which eliminates the cracking and dry rotting that some of you have seen on the couplers after a few years of use.




All of these new products are already in stock. In fact, if you've ordered within the past month or so, you already received an updated kit!

If you aren't familiar with these kits, they're arguably the best available for the G8 with excellent fit and finish and dyno proven horsepower gains 20-30 HP without a tune.
