Default Stiff Shifter

05 M6 I have noticed here lately that my shifter gets very stiff at times. Not all the time and mainly after the car has warmed up or im stuck in traffic. After reading the forums I changed the tranny fluid to see if that helped. It was apparent the fluid needed changing BAD. It did help a little bit, but it still has the problem now and then. Anyone have any advise or tips ??

Mine does the same thing. I changed the fluid but to no avail. It still comes and goes.

Sometimes the factory shifter will start to come apart from within and be very stiff.
