Hid's come with a range of temps that will give a yellow tint to white to blueish purple. Attached is a link that offers other colors. These colors would use the same bulb size that is stock on the car .

You'll need to switch to hids for a different color. I have 6k on all of mine. Nice bright white with just a hint of blue. Hate blue in the lights but the guy I get hids from only offers 6k-12k

remember that the GTO housing are NOT HID housings, and will blind oncoming drivers due to the beam scatter. if you want to do it the right way, look at http://www.theretrofitsource.com/index.php for conversion options.
