Default Rear Lowering springs (....that I really didn't want)

Long story short, I ordered a set of the Pedders 2589 (lift springs) and when my order arrived, there was only one spring in the box. I called the vendor and they couldn't get a hold of Pedders as their phone was disconnected (they are assuming they went out of business). At this time the vendor is sending me what they have in stock which is the Pedders 2643 (advertised as a .78" drop spring, but I believe they are a .5" drop). I really wanted as close to stock height as possible (mine is sagging and I would just like to rectify this not really lower the car). I would like to just swap rear springs as the fronts don't look like they are sagging but my rears are (a little less than a 2 finger gap from the top of the tire). (....And finally to the point) how close to stock are these springs actually going to sit, and are there any spacers out there that any of you guys and gals are using to try and cancel out the drop? Thanks.

I'll givee you two options,1st= send them back for a refund and go to Kollar Racing and order a set of lovells springs 2nd= go to kollar racing and order their spring spacers. His link is on ls1gto.com advertising side. Andy is a great guy to deal with.

I just got the springs in today so I think I'm going to go with the second option and get the spring spacers. I had read that the drop springs are only a drop when applied to a Holden, but since the GTO came with the FE2 suspension, it was already lowered compared to a Monaro. Thus an Australian lowering spring would actually be stock height on a GTO. Can anyone verify this? I measured my wheel arches both front and back and my fronts are dead on 26" from the ground and from what I've read the Pedders 2643 will sit a GTO at 26" in the rear (I still wouldn't mind a 1/4" higher in the rear though).

I have a set of 5/16" raise Pedders springs sitting in the garage. They have drag bags installed. If you are interested shoot me a text message or call me at 256 509 621zero.

I appreciate the offer, but as it stands I already have the new springs in my possession.
