Fuel sending unit and return line
I swapped my 350 cu in Chevy engine from my 1971 Impala Custom coupe replacing it with a used 2006 GTO LS2. I also had a custom made stainless steep fuel tank made by Rock Valley Antique. The submersible fuel pump has 2 lines, a PU (Pick Up and an RTN Return) the fuel rail on the engine only has one line (for the PU). Is there a return fitting on the engine or does the GTO LS2 have only one line?
The folks at Rock Valley told me that some engines don't have returns. I asked about another plastic plugged orifice, (1 & 1/2 inch diameter) and was told that it's for a fuel sending unit. Does the fuel pump include a sending unit? If not, where should I look for the correct sending unit? I understand I need to know the ohm for the CPU programmer.

The GTO does not have a return line but people use the EVAP line as the return with a regulator with the OE fuel tank: http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=560650
If you used the OE fuel pump bucket, it does have sending unit on it.
