How many lbs do you guys run in your DR at the track? I just bought a set of Nitto 555R's and im thinking like 22 lbs? any suggestions

Not a GTO, but I always had the best luck running around 16psi in some BFG G-force T/A drag tires in my Chevelle.

I've had success running 16-17lbs on Nitto DRs... 18s though.

Think the manufacturer does not recommend going below 18 psi. I hear people all the time claiming the lower the better, but last year when I had Nittos (got M/T now), I tried 20, 22, 24, 26, and 28. I got my best results with 24 psi. Now track conditions and temp are important factors, so what worked for me at the time might not be best for you. I suggest starting out at 24 or so and then maybe dropping down a little at a time and test for yourself.
