Default Road racing with big power and/or a 9"/12-bolt

Anyone out there racing their turbocharged or supercharged F-Body on a road course? I see H/C folks running their 10-bolt on the autox course and road courses but I've yet to see someone making 600+ with a different rear cutting it up on the autox (not like all that power would help much)

I'm really more curious than anything....

9" would be better than a 12 bolt..but the stock 10 bolt with a T2R (but I've heard they have fallen off in recent years) works great

i would think that if you were going to replace the 10 bolt you would go with a nine for the ease of gear changes.

I don't make near that horsepower, But I do autocross and hit some of the finer tracks in Germany for some laptime. Yes I have a nine inch in Fbody.

I'm curious about this too. I'm gonna be doing some road racing soon, but my car has a 9" with 4.30 gears! If I had known that I really wouldn't be hitting the strip that much, I would have kept the stock rear, but I occassionally go with friends to drag race. I really want the best all around car possible, so I know I have to comprimise to get a happy medium. I make ~450rwhp, how will this setup work on a roadcoarse (VIR to be specific)? Looking back, I should have built a 8.8 rear with a good posi and a little less gear, that would probably be the closest thing to the best-of-both-worlds.

Don't know much about VIR, but HHR is in my backyard and use it quite frequently. Car is equipped with a nine inch 3.5 gearing. Car will top out on the Abahn at 193mph. So it does have a little power. I have also broke a nine inch casing here once ,but that is a whole different story.
