415 LS3 in a ASA Tour modded Road Race car
Hey everyone,
Thought I would show you this video, it is a customer from Pheonix that is running one of our full dry sump 415 LS3 road race engines. He has the car running on methanol.
He started dead last and was in the lead in I think 4 or 5 laps. You will see him pass Z06 vette's, an ACR viper and other really fast cars.
This car puts 625hp and 585ft-lbs to the ground!!!!!
Enjoy

The base price for the complete package is $16,999 with a $700 price for the methanol upgrade!!!!!

Dang those guys didn't stand a chance on the main straight, or anywhere really, lol.
Is the meth really necessary for an NA motor like this?
Can't tell from the vid, is it a full custom chassis car or Vette based?

This is a fully built ASA stock car as was stated. It is setup for road racing, it has a full front valance, rear wing, 15" wide meats on the back, 12 or 13 on the front!!!
I think the extra 30rwhp and 35ftlbs helped him get by those vettes a little easier!!!
Now he needs to get a 6 speed in the car, and then look out!!!

He was also pissing oil all over the track for several laps and ended up finishing 4th in class 1 lap down. Not sure if he hurt the motor or not - I believe the oil was from a fitting going to the dry sump tank - not the engine.
No doubt the car made great power and was really fast, but Dustin didn't make any friends oiling the track down for everyone else, can't exactly blame him it was the race for the National Championship.
Just wanted to give the whole story, also the Vettes and Vipers he was passing are limited to 5.5 hp to weight, Dustin was running in the SU (Super Unlimited) class where you can run as much power as you want. He did put in the 2nd fastest lap of the day, the only car that ran a faster lap time was a full tube frame GT1 Camaro - who ended up winning the race.

I find it funny that racers get mad at each other over something that wasn't even in their control.
