Brake fluid for track event (yes I did a search)
Ok, so far there is ATE Blue or ATE Super Blue. Are they the same?
Ford HD
Castrol SRF, maybe the best but too pricey for me.
Any more suggestions? Who sells the ATE?

I've run the Motul 600, ATE Super Blue and Castrol SRF. The SRF is by far the best, the Motul was second and the ATE third (IMO).
You may think the SRF is too pricey but in the long run it evens out.

I have found the same thing T-Man ...
Motul would work great, but would discolor, making me think it's abilities to resist heat was degrading.
After the same length of track time with the same pads, my SRF lloked as good as when I first put it in.

What vendors, if any carry Castrol SRF ? If not any vendors, then what auto parts outlet is known to carry this stuff ?

Re: Brake fluid for track event (yes I did a search)
SRF question?
Since it comes in a large container, is that a problem? I am using Motul 5.1 and it is suggested to 'use the whole bottle' (1/2 liter)when bleeding since it will start to accumulate H2O in the bottle after it is opened.
Is that an issue for SRF? Do you need to put an entire bottle (1 liter - twice as much) through once you open it up? I know you won't be opening bottles as often because of how well if works, but does it still make it as good of a trade off?
I am almost out of Motul 5.1, so I thought I better find out now. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I always use the Ford HD.
If Lingenfelter uses/recommends it then it must be good enough for me:

BTW, the fact that it is CHEAP doesn't hurt either <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
