gesssshh, you shoulda cleaned up your lid/filter a little bit- makes it easier to get the price your asking... but good luck.

 

 

Whats the difference between the blackwing and regular SLP lids?

I think the reason people are mentioning the price is because the standard SLP lids go for $50-80 used.

 

yes the price is higher, but they do not make this lid anymore and this lid was ONLY on select SLP firehawks and ss's from the factory. They offered it for a bit at around $400 with a blackwing filter if i am not mistaken. This lid also does not hit you're hood when it is shut unlike the new lids you can buy.

Do a search on here for it.

And as for cleaning it, i will clean to purchasers demand but there you have to know, there is also that person who does not want a OEM discontinued part to have cleaner wearing the label colors for collection purposes.

and remember, the lid is OBO

ah, so its a special edition version. Never heard of it. True some people would probably want it as is, as to not damage the labels and such with cleaners.

 

yes sir, do a search on "blackwing lid" or "slp blackwing"

 

very rare lid, that flow just as well as all the aftermarket lids. Usually go for 300-350 on ebay so the price is right. I have stored away the one that came on my car orginally as I upgraded to a 85mm.

it is an awesome lid
