Default So-Cal T-tops

What's up everyone. I am looking for a set of t-tops. Does anyone within L.A. driving distance have any for sale?

Some ****** decided to steal mines last night. Preferably with the key.

Thanks,

How did they steal them? They have to get into your car in order to turn the handle?!

I'm guessing they pulled the window back a bit, enough to stick their hand in
and turn the handle enough to yank them off.

They left marks on the window. They didn't open the doors, that's for sure.

I always keep mine locked, I seem to feel better when I am on the freeway with them locked, this way there is no reason they should fly off like the stories i have heard on here.

My friend has a 95 LT1 T/A. A few years back he was ******* around with his brother on the freeway who was in another car in back of him. He decided to hock a lugie up into the air and have it land on his bro's windshield. So,.. as he's do'n 60ish he lifts his t-top to do it and the wind catches it and takes the t-top off...... Guess what hit his bro's windshield? I'll give you a hint,... it was'nt a lugie! ...Dumb-****!!

It never occured to me that someone would take your T-Tops only, so I never locked them. ****, have you ever locked your keys inside these cars? it's hard enough to stick your hand in to unlock the doors. I can't be the only one in here didn't lock them..............right?

We learn from our mistakes I guess. I'll be dammed if I leave them unlocked again.

Then i started lockin my t-tops. bcuz at least if someone breaks into my whip they can take other stupid ****..but not the t-tops. but how much does the set of t-tops usally run for?

I got several pricings

Local shops sell them for approx. $350-$450 for the pair
Dealer for approx $500 a piece
LS1 tech approx $200-250 for the pair
On Ebay I found a pair for about $180 shipped for the pair, but I couldn't wait for the shipping.
Or you can always go with the famous "5 finger discount" and jack some elses, but that would suck if we have to resort to stealing from other f-bodies.

So my advice to all is to start locking these *****'s!!!!!
