I recently purchased a new "Family Friendly" sports car and have decided to let my WS6 go, even though it hurts a little. Here are the details.
2001 white w/black interior ws6 with 31,000 miles on it. (I bought it with
24,000 miles on it) this car is showroom quality. $19,600 OBO
I have owned it the last 8 years and it has been babied. (Never seen rain or snow) I purchased the car from Haggerty dealership as a GM certified vehicle and I have all the paperwork to prove it. The car is very lightly modded and I have all the original parts. This is what has been changed all parts go with the car.
- 17" ZO6 replica rims with nitto 555r on all the way around. (I have the original speedline (curved 5 stars) rims with the original goodyears on them)
-SLP air box with K&N filter (Have original)
-Eiback pro-kit lowering springs (have originals)
-Bilstein shocks (have originals)
-Borla cat back exhaust (have original)
-S.S. Brake lines (have original)
-New pads/rotors all the way around (did this a season or two after when I bought the car)
I am asking 19,600 obo, I am located in Illinois and dealers in my area are selling similiar vehicles from about 18k to 23k.
Feel free to call me with any questions 847-878-1611

Market is funny guys, anything modded just does not sell, I know of 3 red 99-02 T/A ws6 cars M6 that are listed at 15, all are in the 32-41k range, there just not selling, I was after one and was trying to get him for 14 so that I could afford to fly to FL and drive home, he would not budge, car has been for sale for months, in the end everyone has there price, and the line VS sell or wait and sell is extremely thin, I just paid top dollar for my LT1 WS6 but it was exactly what i wanted and within 20 mins of me, IMO it would have sat if it was not for me, but you never know

Its not a sellers market, the economy still sucks, a lot of people are trying to figure out how to make ends meet and can't afford to buy a toy. Using these cars as a DD is not feasible with the price of gas either. Its supply and demand and right now the supply is greater than the demand.

No, the car is mechanically perfect. I originally thought I have had it for eight years but after pulling the paperwork from the dealer it is just shy of 10 years. it gets stored under a cover in a heated garage every winter. The body and interior is near showroom condition. I know people don't believe me when I say what the condition is, but the car will sell its self once someone sees it in person.
I have all original parts as well.
Thanks for the interest.

Beautiful car.
Part of the problem with selling these cars is the fact that they are over 10 years old. Banks and credit unions don't want to loan any money against 13 year old cars.
So with a bad economy the people who have 20K in cash are less likely to spend it on a toy. People who don't have all the cash need to go through a dealership who might have financing options available on older cars.
Good luck selling your car.

Clean car and only say this because you seem surprised no one is lining up. When you are higher than an ls2 m6 gto or c5 corvette with same or similar mileage, you arent going to sell it...14-15k is going to be your ceiling most likely and youll have to be patient as well.

You have a nice car but top dollar is going to be about $15K...
