somome buy this. Dont look at it thats its "just a flat hood" and you wanted the look of a sunco. If you not going to cut the cowl for tall intake anyway who cares, this is perfect for most just going to run a fast anyway. It will take like 45-50pounds off your car form the steel z28 hood and the mount stuff. For $300 its a steal in weight savings.

Yes. should be like 11-12pounds, unpainted w/o the dzues.
also correct me if I'm wrong, this hood if just the outer skin (still plenty strong as all pin on hoods are) so you gain alot of room for it still being a flat hood. Like in the back over were you would have a single plane carb style intake, the stock hood is 4-5inchs thick there, this is 1/4. And down the middle to run charge piping, over the stock with the bracing.
