This is a 5.3 (3.78 bore) iron block in great condition. Fresh honed, and ready for piston, rod and crank installation. Cam bearings show normal wear, but are still considered good by most experts/enthusiasts. We had no issues with the engine as far as oil pressure.

We took it apart to upgrade the pistons to forged/flat tops, but then decided to go another route when we came across a great deal on a 370CI 6.0 block. I can include 8 5.3 OEM dished pistons and wrist pins. One piston suffered some detonation damage, and I would recommend replacing it just to be safe.
