What is modified to the housing with the 4ch ABS option? Does this just mean you include the backing plates whereas we'd have to provide them if we don't select that option?

Nothing is done to the housing. The axles will be setup with the reluctor rings on them. You will need to have brake backing plates with the sensors in them. I will need you to send them in if you want a complete bolt in unit.

Thanks for the quick reply. If I don't order the 4 channel option, are the axles ready to accept my stock reluctor rings if I install them myself?

Any 9" setup will not have axles with c clips on them. The axles in the housing are held in by either a bearing retainer, OR in the case of this F body unit i make, it will be held in by the brake backing plates when you bolt them on

I know there will be a few variables, but what would the horsepower rating be for this unit in a 3400 pound race car?
