Looking to trade my TCI built TH400 for a 4l80e. The transmission was just rebuilt with new clutches and a sprag. It is a RMVB and has a transbrake that works great. I also have a billet FTI converter that was built for my turbo 370 car. Stalls around 3400 or so. I also have a B&M bar and plate cooler with a 10" fan mounted to the cooler. The pan is a B&M deep pan. I also have a scatter shield for it but not on the transmission itself yet. It is a stock case 400 but would not take much to put a Ultrabell on it. The transmission will come with the 36" Lokar dipstick and a M6 crossmember and spacer. I have a chromoly driveshaft to go with it also for a 9" (can fit others with a U-joint change). The transmission works and shifts flawlessly. The stall and transmission have about 3-400 miles on them. Only thing needed to install this a shifter.

I am looking for a 4l80e. I do not have a preference of newer vs older style. I do want a good working transmission that has lower miles and would like it to be built but stock ones are not out of the question.

I will trade for either a T56 or 65e but they need to be built and include everything for the swap. I am not looking for any junk or subpar built 60/65e's They need to be built by a known builder with a receipt of purchase or some proof as to who built it and what is in it.

I would like $2600 for everything outright and I will pay for half of the shipping in the Cont. USofA.

It is still in the car but I have pulled them so often that it takes me about 45 minutes from the car on the ground to get it out lol.

I am going to send a link to this thread to a buddy who is going to need a TH400 within a few months.

I just picked up a Camaro SS that has the TH400 RMVB conversion and it's pretty cool to drive... everywhere but the highway.

 

But you forget your buddy can build transmissions I just wanted yours since it's local. Free bump for a deal.
