I am selling my Mecham hood for my trans am. I've had it on my car a few years. Its a cool hood you don't see very often. I trimmed the underside of the hood so it clears my super victor, accufab TB, and carb hat. With it trimmed it's about the same as a 4in cowl hood. Only reason I am selling it is because I got a 5in VFN pin on hood. New the hood costs $770 plus $100+ for shipping. I am looking to get $475 obo. I would prefer pickup, but I am willing to drive and meet someone or meet half way depending how far away you are. I am located in Lockport, NY. I am also willing to ship at the buyer's expense.

You don't. Notice I don't have wipers on the car. It never sees rain. Also its not like it would hurt the car anyway. I wouldn't suggest shoving a fire hose in one of the vents, but rain and water from washing the car isn't going to hurt anything.
