Pending Sale

it is out and ready to ship new images below, a little on the dirty side

The reason this is for the sale is I just acquired a motor from Todd at RPM Transmissions.

Engine was built by Toby Cunningham @ Cunningham MotorWorks in South Charleston, WV. His number is 304-766-8999.

Engine specs out to be just a shade over a 408. Motor made 916/903 with an STS kit with billet 62 trims at 17 lbs of boost on my 99 FRC. I have been working on converting the car over to a Procharger F2 and decided LSX block would be better suited. HAS NOT been run with the F2 kit installed, have not had time to finish it.

Motor has 2,200 miles on it from the last setup.

Short Block:
  • GM LS2 engine block with 4.035" bore
  • Callies Dragonslayer 4.00" stroke
  • Callies Compstar H Beam connecting rods
  • 24x reluctor
  • ARP main studs
  • Custom Diamond Pistons Teflon Coated skirts and Ceramic Coated tops(9.4:1 compression)
  • Double Roller timing set
  • Ported GM oil pump
  • GM FBody oil pan

Top End:
  • Dart Pro 1 225 as cast cathedral port heads
  • PAC 1521 Dual Springs with Ti Retainers
  • House of Boost custom ground cam (email for specs)
  • GMPP LS7 lifters
  • Comp Cams push rods
  • GM stock LS2 rockers with Comp Cams trunion upgrade kit
  • ARP head studs

Also available is Edelbrock Super Victor (28095) with the fuel rails for an additional $400.

I have WAYYY more in this than my listed price, but am looking to recoup the expense on the new motor. I am hoping to get the motor out of the car by the first of next week. I am picking up chassis fixtures to allow for easier removal later this week.

Feel free to ask me anything.

Look for $6350 shipped(freight).

Here are a couple pics of it in the car.

Out and ready to ship (no accessories or valvecovers come with it):

Here are a couple videos with the STS kit. I had the valvecovers redone after this.

Was wondering the same thing about the re-sleeve. You have the bore listed as 4.035. What gives?

An ls2 can be taken out that far. It has thicker sleeves.

Nothing gives, it is a 4.035" bore.

100% correct, that is why RED choses the LS2 and L33 for sleeving to 427 to 454.
