Only reason I am looking to sell the car and parts guys is I want a Z06 vette. I went with my Dad to pick his 03 EB Z06 this weekend and after driving and riding in it for 11+ hours I want one.

 

Is this a true SS? I ask because the back emblem looks really far to the left.

 

Yes it is a real SS. It has the WU8 option code on the door tag verifing this.

 

what happened to that rear SS emblem, its way off

 

Guys this car is a real SS car. When we went to look at the car, that's the first thing I looked at. WU8 is the code for a Super Sport. Just like WS6 is the code for a WS6. Chevrolet uses the "SS" instead of the WU8 code. This is a true SS and you're right the rear emblem is off...it could be something as simple as the rear tail panel being repainted and someone putting the emblem back in the wrong place.

 

Thanks Brian. Guys I never misrepresent anything I sell. The rear emblem never bothered me. I figure it was a bad day for the emblem guy that day or somthing. Eigther way it is a real SS. I planned to build the car but am wanting a C5 Z06 so I have to sell the SS.

 

No I was not implying it's fake, I meant it had been replaced or repainted. It for sure didnt roll out of the plant like that. Nice car.

how much hp does it have?

 

I dont know about the HP. Never dyno'ed the car. It ran a 13.4 @106 as it sits the first time I took it down the track.

 

Any flaws in the wheels? How much tread is left on the rear M/T's? Are the rears tubed?

Will you sell the whole set without the tires or at least the rear tires (and tubes if equipped)?

Do you have all the center caps?

 

Guys I work with the owner of this car. I have rideen in it several times. It is a gret buy for the money and is in great shape. He is looking to step up to a Z06. This will make someone a great car.
