Default Where can I buy a 1LE tranny mount?

I can't find them anywhere. I heard they have them at Thunder Racing but I can't find them on thier website. Do any other sponser's carry them? A link would help.

Thanks

Ok, I'm gonna buy it from GMPartsDirect.com...
Are you sure that's the part number for the 01-02 1LE mount and not the crappy mount that came on the 98-00's?

Thanks,
Nick

Not 100%, call the parts dept. at your local dealer and verify it, they'll know for sure.

Parts department at our local dealership is a joke. It's a small & old fashion, like our dead town of 2,772 people.

A couple months ago I need seatbelt bolts for the back seat. The retarded old man ordered the wrong ones three times in a row. After three weeks and still no bolts I said screw it and found some simular in my dad's shop and bolted them on.

So is there any other way that I could check, besides for calling my local dealership?

There is only one GM part # for the transmission mount now. GM changed it a couple of years ago. The design is different and will actually push the trans higher into the trans tunnel. I installed it and immediately reinstalled the original one. The original 1LE mount is no longer available.

I'm running an Energy Suspension poly trans mount. I've had it for months and it's a good piece.

Well, I would buy a prothane tranny mount but this is my daily driver, and I'm scared that the vibrations will be bad.

Also, I'm going to install prothane motor mounts at the same time.
