Default FS: Built TH400 w/lock up converter

**SOLD**
I'm selling the TH400 that I ran last spring when I was running 11.0’s n/a.
It's a custom built unit from Yank, built my Mike himself (owner)
It has a lock-up valve body and a matching lock-up PT4000 converter.
I only put about 2000 miles on this set up so the converter is still like new.
It has the extra clutches, Heavy duty sprag, hardened input shaft and a deep factory pan.
The lock-up function is actuated by 12 volts.
I had it hooked up to a switch and after I hit 2nd gear I would flip the switch.
The lock-up function will only work in 2nd and 3rd.
The lock up function is good for a few more mph in the 1/4.
It is also nice on the high way. When you lock it, the rpm's drop about 400 rpms.
I have totally gone through the transmission to freshened it up and replaced all the clutches and seals (didn't need new ones but I replaced them anyways)
All you need is a speed sensor and speedo gear, they can be purchased at most transmission parts stores, or I can get them for you.
I have over $2500. in this set up,
$1500. picked up or $1650. shipped

This is not a GTO specific TH400, it'll fit in anything.

Sure you can. The lock-up feature makes it work great on the street, even better than a built TH400 with out a lock-up.
When I'm on the highway I lock the converter just like a stock transmission would in overdrive that way the rpms drop by about 300-400.
Thanks
Chris

At 70, the rpms was at about 3200 and when you locked it the rpms would drop to around 2800.
I was running 3.46 gears with 26" tires.
Thanks
Chris

Yeah tried to get a hold of Mike, and Dave told me they are no longer making any of the TH400 lock-up parts and don't plan to. =\ Oh well.
