Vid of my first track run
Vid of my first track run Well I finally had a chance to get to the track after installing the strange rearend. I ran a 11.72 @115mph and running out of gear on the big end. My converter is only flashing to about 3100 rpm so it's coming out of the car and getting sent back to PTC to get set around 4200 rpm. As soon as Greg Welds makes there revisions on the new drag lites I will have the 28" tall Hoosier tires on and no more running out of gear!!!!!!! (Hopefully) I hope the new set converter and the 28" tall tires nets me the low 11's I was looking for. The car made 414rwhp and weighs 3420lbs. 11.0's or high 10's should be in sight. RIGHT? Don't know what he had in that thing but I know it had open headers. I was really surprised that I stayed with him until the 1000 ft mark. After that I am running out of gear and on that pass the car shifted into overdrive which killed the powerband.
