Default Can I get my sig back to edit it?

Is there a way to get my sig back so I can edit it to fit the "rules"

My sig, which it supposedly met the rules since early spring, was now deleted. Fine, no problem, but can I get it back so I can make the changes rather than starting from scratch?

Once the signature is deleted - we cannot bring it back.

Sorry!

Well that sucks! I tested it in here about 6 months ago and it was fine?

Just search for one of your old posts that HAD your sig in it and just copy it?

Not sure who OK'd it, but I don't personally check each signature folks test in here - not sure anyone else does either. If we see an offending signature around the forum - we edit it.

If he tested the sig pic in the body of a post, and the sig pic is hosted on some free account (and he's just forgotten where), then it might. That is to say, mods can't "delete" sig pics not hosted on LS1Tech, they just edit the code in your sig to take it out.

But, a search for posts by "No Juice" in the "Signature Testing & Design" forum resulted in only this thread for me.

To me, it appeared he was talking about the entire signature - all the text, formatting, et cetera. All signature images are externally hosted for members - so that is a non-issues from the start.

As such, when we delete a member's signature, they lose all the vBulletin formatting used in the signature, the text, et cetera. You don't lose the hosted image you were linking to.

Unless he doesn't realize that and has just forgotten where it's hosted. I've seen more than one person on here blaming LS1 tech for their sig pics not showing up.

Remeber the one that got a reply, "Your computer has to be turned on for them to show up." (as if they were hosted on the poster's compter)?

Like, I wouldn't know where the hell mine is if it got deleted. I'd just fix and re-upload it. *shrug*

Good points, some folks just don't know how it all works. I forget that at times.

Sharpe, I've got the image saved on my computer and in photobucket so thats no big deal. I was looking for the other info, but it sounds like its not saved some secret place where only mods can retrieve it.

Oh well, I think I may have a thread printed out that might have the info so I can recreate it. I'm not angry, just trying to make it easier, so thats why I asked to see if the mods could send me the text so I could then modify it.

Seeing that it was 9 lines and a picture, I'm surprised it didn't get caught earlier.
