Right. They definitely make a difference. I think what Joseph was getting at is we put them in the motor b/c we were engine dyno testing heads/cam combos with this short-block. Due to the amount of pulls we used them for longevity. However, if ARP rod bolts somehow make it an illegitimate time, we will throw the factory rod bolts in it when we go back to the track this month to bump the record again. The factory rod bolts should live long enough to do what we are looking to do. If the motor blows up, we'll just throw another one in the car and go at it again!

very ture. but still 9's is not a easy task to break with the stock 346ci, love your cam running it on my car right now. how much for the heads without srings just valves????

How does the gearing on the th200 compare to the 4l60e? If you have the 4l60e and same gear what would you be turning at the traps is what I am getting at?

3rd gear should still be a 1:1 ratio on either trans. so it would be the same.
