What are the details on the motor? How much boost? Congrats on getting it back out!

I have switched to a red aeromotive belt drive pump. Had the holley 1800 before but was getting close to maxing it out.

That huge wheelie pass was on only 13psi

Nice! Did you run the electric pump as well like you had planned? What about the new motor?

no I did not have the electric pump turned on, the belt drive pump had no problem maintaining a good solid supply. AFR and fuel pressure looked good even when the nose was up in the air.

I was not leaving on much boost and my 60's were a bit off, so Im not ready to say its not needed at all, but so far the belt drive by itself works fine.

And no, my car will never have wheelie bars. Im looking at some new front shocks and tightening up the converter over the winter.

Do you have the cell in the rear?

You're dodging the motor question lol is it a secret?

yes, trunk mounted cell -10 feed to the pump. Some guys say it works fine some say it doesn't once you 60' low 1.2 or better. I wanted to see what it did on my car, that was a 1.31 on the back tires in the video and it was fine. I have seen as low as 1.24s and hope to push it even lower with the new motor so I'm leaving the electric on there as a back up if I start seeing pressure drop ill kick it on just for the launch.

Fine I guess I'll spill the beans on the new motor, its a Thompson Motorsports shortblock, one of those orange blocks, with a 4.125" bore/4" stroke with some awesome tea/Brain Tooley trickflow 245 heads.
John, at LJMS hooked me up with the hydraulic cam as well as all the little stuff like timing set, pushrods, lifters, valley and timing covers.

Still running the same Proflo and Exhaust manifolds as before.

My goal for the new combo is 7s in the 1/4 and 4s in the 1/8s

Nice man! I'm going back and forth about a 408 and the 454 myself. With the larger motor, which manifolds are you using? The setup looks great!

manifolds are C6 vette

Yes its see some street time, not a lot but some. NO lexan, all real glass and all steel body panels exp the hood. Im trying to get it weighed b4 I take it apart for the winter.

7s will have to wait till next year, Its winter up here now, I was lucky to get those few runs last week, hauled it 3 hrs south to the only track still open in our area and we had some great 60* weather that day.

Im glad I got to make a few hits and get some data. Over the winter I plan to send my converter in to get tightened up and new front shocks and beadlock wheels will be going on.
