I'm building a 1996 fire bird street car with a BBC 496 stroker that should run in the 5 seconds in a 8th mile on D.O.T. street slicks my cost will be around $20,000. I think that's not bad for a 5 second street car with some goodies like a multi-point fuel injection with 50 lb/hr injectors and 2,000 cfm by HOLLEY called COMMANDER 950 and a 2 stage fogger system called PRO SHOT TWIN FOGGER 2 NITROUS OXIDE SYSTEM and a front drive distributor called MSD Pro-Billet front drive distributor and a MAD Programmable Digital-7 plus CD ignition and a 6 speed automatic transmission called TIC6x 6-speed gm 4L80E automatic transmission
