Default 91 camaro rs v6 to v8 crate 350 swap

Hi I am about to buy a new 350 crate engine with a carburetor and electronic ignition for my third gen camaro and I want to know what I need to have the wiring, trans, suspension, and fuel work correctly. The caris an automatic and I want to keep the 700-r4 if possible the car is very clean and rust free and I don't want to hack it up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

should have no problems make sure the carb linkage is set to the 700r4 TV cable properly. There are plenty of linkage adapters for this the other thing you need is the TV cable to be set properly using a transmission pressure gauge is the best and really the only true way to verify this. I am not sure if there is a motor mount difference but if so the proper ones should be available as that car came with that engine as an option. You might want to make sure the torque converter will work and bolt up to the flex plate. Is the crate engine a performance one or close to stock?
